The writer Pippo Casciotta is peremptorily invited by the actor he works for - the comedian Enrico Marullo - to renew his repertoire abandoning the old tricks to make people laugh to be inspired by reality. Despite reluctance, Pippo is busy to satisfy him, immediately getting into trouble. At first he upsets, with his intrusions, an athletics competition, then finds himself hunted in a ring to face a big man twice as big as himself.
