Trama:
Centinaia di migliaia di truppe britanniche ed alleate sono circondate dalle forze nemiche. Intrappolate sulla spiaggia con le spalle rivolte verso il mare, le truppe si trovano ad affrontare una situazione impossibile mentre il nemico si stringe intorno a loro. Gli Spitfire della RAF si sfidano col nemico in cielo aperto sopra la Manica in difesa degli uomini intrappolati a terra. Nel frattempo, centinaia di piccole imbarcazioni capitanate da militari e civili tentano un disperato salvataggio, mettendo a rischio le proprie vite in una corsa contro il tempo per salvare anche solo una piccola parte del proprio esercito.
