A young woman returns to the small town where her parents were murdered, only to find the past re-emerging as a new series of murders begins.
La opening scene di Slasher cattura subito l’attenzione. Senza spoilerare troppo, l’episodio si apre con il maniaco omicida, di nero vestito e con mannaia alla mano, che squarta una giovane coppia durante la notte Halloween. Pioggia di sangue dopo 120 secondi. Flashforward di trent’anni da quel macabro evento e conosciamo la protagonista, Sarah Bennet (Katie McGrath di Merlin), che torna nella sua città natale, Waterbury, e si trasferisce col marito Dylan (Brandon Jay McLaren) proprio nella casa dove i suoi genitori sono stati assassinati. Dal suo ritorno gli omicidi ricominciano per opera di un emulatore. L’incappucciato è tornato e sembra punire gli abitanti della cittadina, non scevri dal peccato e con scheletri nell’armadio che stanno per essere svelati. Per scoprire il fil rouge lungo la scia di sangue, Sarah si rivolge all’assassino dei suoi genitori che sta scontando l’ergastolo in prigione.
