Episode Plot:
Damon, Matt and Caroline shiver as they find Cade has escaped his exile dimension and liberated Stefan, now threatening Damon with hell unless he either kills a hundred locals or Caroline, later learning Stefan accepted the mirror single murder of Elena. While Matt tries to evacuate, Cade 'gets started' on Damon's hundred. While Dorian searches for other ways to eliminate Cade, Damon rejects Caroline's plan to trick him into drinking the cure. Enzo resolved to take the cure and spend a lifetime with Bonnie, so they go trough his bucket list before heading for Elena's secret resting place. Despite Damon's desperate efforts to talk Stefan out of it, he beats them to the punch and kills Enzo.

DESCRIPTION
The vampire brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore, eternal adolescents, having been leading "normal" lives, hiding their bloodthirsty condition, for centuries, moving on before their non-aging is noticed. They are back in the Virginia town where they became vampires. Stefan is noble, denying himself blood to avoid killing, and tries to control his evil brother Damon, who promised to Stefan an eternity of misery. Stefan falls in love with schoolgirl Elena, who has an uncanny resemblance to the Salvatore brothers old love, Katherine; and whose best friend Bonnie is a witch.
