Z Nation narra le vicende di un gruppo di sopravvissuti a tre anni dallo scoppio di un virus zombi che ha annientato gli Stati Uniti, chiamati a trarre in salvo e trasportare da New York alla California l'unico paziente al quale è stato iniettato un vaccino sperimentale anti zombie, ultima speranza per la salvezza del genere umano.
La terza stagione di Z Nation cala lo spettatore in una realtà ancora più feroce, con i nostri sopravvissuti che si trovano a fronteggiare una missione sempre più incerta, mentre sono ancora alla ricerca di Murphy (Keith Allan), ora alla guida di un vero e proprio esercito di ibridi, un genere a metà tra zombie ed umani, impegnati a diffondere il messaggio "No Fear" in tutto il paese.
Tocca ora al gruppo formato da Roberta Warren (Kellita Smith), Doc (Russell Hodgkinson), Addy (Anastasia Baranova), Diecimila e ai nuovi membri del team Hector Alvarez (Emilio Rivera) e Sun Mei (Sydney Viengluang), cercare di fermare Murphy prima che sia troppo tardi.
Nella terza stagione di Z Nation ci saranno anche nuove minacce, con la comparsa di nuovi impressionanti orrori come i Wolf-Z, gli Electro-Shock Z, e i selvaggi "Enders”. Tutto lo scenario già conosciuto dal pubblico cambia radicalmente: la missione è cambiata, la composizione della stessa squadra di eroi è cambiata e tutti questi elementi rendono l’apocalisse zombie ancora più “apocalittica”.
Tutti i protagonisti si troveranno ad affrontare delle sfide ancora più impegnative e paurose, ma allo stesso tempo ancora più spettacolari, ancora più folli e più zombie che mai.
Z Nation è la serie TV ideata dall’eclettica casa di produzione The Asylum, già artefice dell’action-horror di culto Sharknado, che ha saputo fin dall’inizio distinguersi per la sua originalità e ironia.
