DESCRIPTION
Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.
Sinopsis by IMDBNella mente di Riley, una ragazza di undici anni del Minnesota, vivono cinque emozioni: Gioia, che garantisce la felicità alla ragazza, Disgusto, che si occupa che Riley non venga avvelenata fisicamente e socialmente, Paura, che tiene Riley lontano dai pericoli, Rabbia, che impedisce che Riley subisca ingiustizie e Tristezza, il cui scopo non è ben chiaro a nessuna emozione. Le cinque emozioni dirigono la mente di Riley all'interno di un Quartier Generale, agendo su una consolle piena di pulsanti. Ogni volta che un'emozione agisce, nasce un ricordo, dall'aspetto di una piccola sfera dal colore dell'emozione che lo ha causato. La maggior parte dei ricordi viene spedito poi nella Memoria a Lungo Termine, mentre quelli più importanti, detti Ricordi Base, rimangono nel Quartier Generale, dove agiscono sulla mente della bambina definendone la personalità. I cinque Ricordi Base di Riley sono tutti felici (dorati) e alimentano cinque Isole della Personalità: la Famiglia, l'Onestà, la Stupidera, l'Hockey e l'Amicizia.
