Total Recorder Professional Edition is a multi-purpose audio-recording software program with a wide range of editing and sound processing capabilities. It can record anything coming through a Windows sound card, including streamed audio from external players (such as iTunes, RealPlayer, Windows Media Player) and Internet-telephony programs (such as Skype), sound from a microphone, and line-in input. Total Recorder Professional Edition directly records sound in digital format from other software sources without any conversion. Recording can be performed in any of these supported sound formats: WAV, MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, APE and FLAC. In addition to ordinary recording, you can background record (capture or rip) Internet broadcasts in MP3, WMA, and Ogg Vorbis formats directly in their original format. One of the most useful features is the schedule facility where the scheduler can connect automatically to a website, record the audio, and then close down the PC when complete.
