DESCRIPTION

The Smashing Pumpkins Oceania 3D IN NYC was filmed last December at New York City's Barclay's Arena, where the group performed their new Oceania album in its entirety, along with a selection of the band's biggest hits. The PUMPKINS' shows included visuals prepared by Sean Evans, whose most recent project was assisting Roger Waters on the newest staging of "The Wall." THE PUMPKINS used new technology in video-mapping to create something new and previously unseen, all of which is expertly captured in 3D and recorded 5.1 Surround Sound for the ultimate audio visual sensory experience!

Oceania: Live in NYC is a concert film by alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins,
recorded at Brooklyn’s new Barclays Center in New York on December 10, 2012. The concert
was released on several home audio and video formats on September 24, 2013. The show
includes a performance of the band's 2012 album Oceania in full.

The Smashing Pumpkins (dosłownie "Powalające Dynie") – amerykański zespół rockowy założony
w Chicago w roku 1988. Jego skład kilkukrotnie ulegał zmianom; przez większość kariery
tworzyli go Billy Corgan (wokal, gitara rytmiczna), James Iha (gitara prowadząca, chórki),
D'arcy Wretzky (gitara basowa, chórki) oraz Jimmy Chamberlin (perkusja).
